Adults today only know about what horses are because of western films.

Although, some people still ride horses for work or fun, but the vast majority has not even touched a horse. Oh, and it really depends on location too. Rich countries switched to machines about a hundred years ago, whereas poor countries still use various animals in normal everyday life.

If it supports Electricity V 230, you should be fine. If it’s still on V 120, all bets are off.

It’s important to figure out if the other person is really playing the same ballgame as you are. Once you realize that the rule books don’t match, it’s time to cut your losses and move on.

Took me many years to understand that, but once I did, I’ve saved so much time. For example, you might be talking to a flat-earther thinking that it’s a debate where logic and facts matter. Spoiler: it’s not. The rules aren’t what you initially thought, and there’s no way to win. You winning just isn’t in their rule book at all.

CommonSense 2024, the best antivirus solution I’ve ever tried. Highly recommend it. Compatible with phones, tablets, computers, potatoes etc.

Can we slap on some augmented reality, IoT, big data and sprinkle some quantum encryption on top? After that, it should tick all the boxes. ✅

You could summarize the whole transparency thing into just one word: trust. As long as people trust that everything is fine, the society can continue to function. When people loose trust, everything falls apart.

If you can convince millions of people that the voting system works and is fair, you can have a democratic society. If not, you might want to look into alternatives such as totalitarian dictatorship, monarchy or even post apocalyptic absolute chaos.

And telephones! Even en old-school analogue phone is pretty amazing how sound becomes an electrical signal and then is converted back to sound at the other end.

Modern digital phones are just pure magic compared to analogue phones.

It’s because of display size.

Back in the ancient times people used to divide mobile devices into phones, phablets and tablets. Nowadays, most phones are about the size of a phablet, so you totally have the screen real estate for buttons.

It’s evidence of me swiping too fast and not reading the text three times before sending.

The torrent of lies and absurd statements should keep the rest of the world entertained. For most Americans, it’s probably going to be horrifying, tragic and/or embarrassing.

Edit: corrected the mess left behind by autocorrect

Seems like he is gradually sliding towards being a medieval king or a dictator. In England, that sort of thing was limited in 1215 and the rest of Europe followed in the next centuries. However, Mussolini showed that even in a democratic state it’s always possible to make history repeat itself.
