Being more "intelligent" makes one better at chess and chess reinforces patterns traditionally seen as a measure of intelligence.
Being good at chess is: memorization and pattern recognition. Being able to abstract and anticipate. All of these things are traditionally seen as intelligence. But that's a bad way of looking at intelligence and chess, generally.
The Democrats rat fucked the progressives locally here. I'm not a progressive and I had some big problems with them but I would have voted for them because prison abolition is actual harm reduction in my opinion.

Hey PC hardware help

Do any of you know why my PC might have fried 2 power cables (not the supply itself) within a month? Second time she won't turn on last time it was just the cable, can't assume that's the cause right now but it smells like the power supply itself may be bad. I could see one faulty cable but two seems odd
The Internet has been enshittified to the point that searching for this seems obnoxious also I have to search on my phone because obviously my PC won't turn on lol
Update things are going well that's the shattered glass side of my case lol
