There is a consensus that emotions are bad and should be ignored but if you ask people what they want out of life it's all emotions: love, happiness, excitement, fullfillment. We denigrate feelings all the time but we didn't go to the moon for science, it was curiosity and wonder and joy.

Your comment just reminded me that I'm very tired of emotions being dismissed as useless or harmful.

The thing about Australia is that all the things that kill you on land are small and sneaky and will run away from you. There are no large predators. Crocodiles are all up north and easy to avoid. Shark attacks are rare and there are nets for the jellyfish, also up north. Meanwhile the US has bears that can open doors, come into your house and eat you alive. I think this is why they have guns and we don't, although I have no doubt that someone has taken a shotgun to a huntsman at some point and I don't blame them.

Why the need to stop seeing them as men? Why the need to redefine men behaving badly as boys? It seems like you can't accept that some men behave this way so you want to pretend they're not really men.

Grown adults behave this way all the time, and plenty of them know better, they just dont care. You are being absurd.
