I'm currently listening to the Network Effect audiobook. I like that it's a full novel. More time to spread out and have a more complex plot.

Was just thinking about what it'is look if Gallagher smashed some sausage chubs with his huge hammer. I bet it'd be entertaining

Those don't seem to work for me. I think it's because they started using an artificial sweetener that gives me equal or worse digestive issues

We mix ketchup and Worcestershire and put it on meatloaf. And then we make more to dip the meatloaf in while eating.

My wife is reading through some top 500 books or whatever list and she always struggles with this. If you give it 50-100 pages and get nowhere, just put it down and call it a loss.

Meanwhile, I'm just reading scifi and fantasy stuff that comes well recommended and rarely have to give up on a book.

I've been playing off and on for years, but can't get past about level 20. I suck so bad at the game but love it

Does anyone know the best way to make this ramp nonslip? We get a fair amount of ice and snow and there are a couple elderly folks using the ramp.

We tried a basic nonslip rubber mat, but the grooves just hold ice and snow so don't really help.

Our current ideas are maybe adding rubber stair treads every board or two, or maybe tacking little strips of wood to every board.

I often follow a web link and then click on another link on the web page. When I swipe back, I expect to go back to the original web page, but it goes all the way back to Lemmy page where I started.

I am using Google Pixel 6, this is only way to go back, so not sure if this is unique to Pixels.
