I appreciate he's reading a book.

Tesla’s reasoning for going away with a method universally used for signaling turn for decades is that it enables them to remove a physical part, the stalk, and it believes activating a turn signal will soon be unnecessary with the advent of self-driving.

Why the hell do billionaires keep laughing in our faces? I swear every time one of them or their companies opens their mouth, it's like they're making fun of us, the poor people.

"We care about your privacy" — (they don't) "a turn signal will soon be unnecessary" etc.

Oh my god but the shine... anyway what were we talking about?

To be honest, we're dealing with corpos here, so a fully FOSS car is just a dream. But to be honest, if the software is not connected to any network in any way and doesn't control stuff that could kill me in case of a bug or whatnot, AND I have the right to flash whatever I want on there and tinker with it (since it doesn't control vital driving features, that should not be a problem), I can live with it. Only under these three conditions though.

I hate modern electric cars not because they don't have a gas guzzling engine, but because of the fact they're "modern" (proprietary software connected to the cellular network).

But of course, Trump only said this because all of his supporters drive gas guzzling behemoths of steel to compensate for something. And, of course, telling someone to rot in hell just because of a type of vehicle they like makes him seem like an incredibly mentally stable person...

Jesus fucking a prostitute. I'm interested. Never read the bible so I don't know about it, but I'm curious.

The free upgrade part is not the thing that upsets me, if you even bothered to read the context. It's the fact that you may not be able to upgrade an old machine to Windows 11 by "traditional means" (clicking a button), because Microsoft deems it "unsupported", which the above commenter disproved by saying they were able to install it even on this "unsupported" hardware.

Don't mean to disrespect, but I recommend you read the context before you start rolling your eyes and calling people names. Applies to real life too. Have a good day!

Huh. It's almost as if Microsoft just wants more money from people buying a new computer with their new OS. No one could see that coming.
