I was really psyched about AI when it first hit my news feed. Now I'm less than impressed. Most generalist AI platforms get things wrong constantly. Having an LLM trained on specific things, like math or science or maybe law, I could see being useful.
We're at the "AI everything" phase instead of the "AI what makes sense" phase.

For real though, you sound like an idealist, a perfectionist, who lets good be the enemy of perfect. I don't think you actually want a conversation - you want others to hear your voice and opinion.

Total be clear I'm in favor of more public transit than less. Our city was never meant to have this many people or cars on the road. If we can shift away from individuals in cars, that's a huge win for Seattle.
Most people don't have the time or knowledge to swap a car engine tho? That's a huge cost factor in this equation.
I used to think fireworks were fun, but after getting a dog that is terrified of them, you start noticing all the little things.
People shoot then off randomly throughout the year. They leave behind garbage waste. Animals and even some humans seem to get PTSD from them.
I'm in favor of very limited fireworks in specific areas.
