When did the gun get to the roof?’ Pennsylvania police ask questions about Trump’s shooter amid FBI investigation

Butler County Sheriff Michael Slupe says that when his officers were notified about a suspicious person at former president Donald Trump’s Saturday rally, there was no mention of any weapon. By the time one of his officers spotted the individual on a rooftop, the man was holding a rifle.

“When did the gun get to the roof?” Sheriff Slupe asked. “Was it the night before? And I’m not telling you something that I know – I’m asking the question myself.”

Before Trump’s speech, Sheriff Slupe said the officers received reports of a suspicious person on the grounds. Officers were given a photo of the individual to help their search, he said.

“The police responded immediately, and when that [report] was sent, there was no mention of a gun,” he said. The sheriff said he is still not clear on the exact chain of events as it is still under investigation, but it’s his understanding that some people at the rally alerted officers to an individual hiding on the roof of a low building not far from the stage.

From there, his officers went to the building and another officer gave his colleague a boost up to see. The officer gripped the edge of the roof to see if anyone was up there. Sheriff Slupe said it’s crucial to remember the officer was not expecting to see someone with a gun

“I don’t know if he popped his head up. I don’t know how far he was up. I don’t know any of that, but the shooter apparently saw or heard him and turned toward him. The officer let go and fell to the ground,” the sheriff said. At that point, the shooter took aim and fired at Trump. Within seconds, the shooter was killed by a sniper.

Sheriff Slupe said he had been sitting just two rows back from the stage where Trump entered. He, like many, thought the loud pops were firecrackers. Earlier in the day, his office had received a noise complaint about someone else setting off fireworks about a kilometre away from the rally.

Dwarf fortress modding is very easy to learn

I had a personal adventure mode mod that added a ton of reactions for the player to use: butcher any corpse, leather curing and crafting, bone crafting, weapon sharpening, item decorating. Also changed necromancers to different elemental magic schools, each with their own set of spells to unlock via tome/slab

I had another that removed all the fantasy races and creatures, then split up humans by biome into the standard western fantasy trope races (Northmen, steppe riders, desert people, marsh people etc), each with their own distinct appearances, clothing/armor/weapon styles, cultural preferences, and even custom conlangs based on real world language groups

Russian companies are reported to be increasingly using a food additive that is banned in the country—"meat glue" or transglutaminase—to cut production costs.

smuglord rofl how do those sanctions taste ruzzians??

Transglutaminase was also banned by the European Union in 2010

It has been banned for use in food production in Russia since 2020

It is still permitted for use in the United States.

On Thursday, Musk reposted a chart that claims Europe is suffering from a “fertility crisis,” saying “civilization may end with a bang or with a whimper (in adult diapers).”
