They fail gloriously at at that too.

Whenever they get tested the red teams manage to smuggle in everything needed to hijiack a plane plus a kitchen sink.

The few times that terrorists tried to board planes, they made it through security and were caught by other passengers.

I always take the opportunity to mess with people who ask me that question.

Where are you from? - (a city in the US).
Where did you move from. - (an other city in the US).
Where where you born. - (a city in Europe).
Uhhh.... So uh.... I mean.... What's the... <starts sweating about a politely way to say, "the not-white part">

Unfortunately, the experience of being mixed race is a bit more complicated than that.

There are several groups that see me as a potential member but it's usually qualified with an implied "half-member". There's really no group that looks at me and instinctively says, "One of us."

That's what confuses me. I'm a Gen Xer (whether or not I'm a manbaby is debateable) and that design just looks old to me. Not retro, not nostalgia inducing, just dated.

I've spent too much time wondering about this design.

It looks like they really wanted to go for a futuristic look. The problem is they went for something that looked futuristic in the 1990's.

If I had rolled up to a Y2K party in a car that looked like it was straight out of, the Minds Eye, Beyond the Mind's Eye or the original Tron, it would have been badass.

Now it just looks like he couldn't get enough GPUs to render them with more polygons.

No.

It's actually worse than that. Very few borders are straight lines. We have to approximate the border when calculating land area.

I just headed over to /r/conservative to skim the posts.

I'll admit that it was a very shallow glance at what they're thinking but it really doesn't look like they're as upset with Vance as liberals like to think they are.

They're not as smug as they were a few weeks ago but they're still pretty comfortable with their poll numbers.

When I was a kid, a lot of US maps where US-centered. They would chop Eurasia down the middle and include some overlap on the edges (so places like India might show up twice).

Which country? You’re gonna have to be a bit more specific with than that.

Yeah. I get the intent but it comes off kind of gross.
