Nice, I still laugh at the fact that she made a song about how her brother Alfie was a loser, stoner, and gamer, but he is really famous now after his role in Game of Thrones.

The problem is that "technocracy" does directly leads to these same problems. The issue with technocracy isn't that people should have to be qualified or know what they are talking about, but that they come from a privileged class and will side with their class interests. The proliferation of fascism and anti-science politicians is not due to democracy, but the lack thereof. It is from the nominal left parties trying to be the polite, lesser evil, in response to their opponents. The more mask off fascist parties appeal only to the petite bourgeois and the nominal progressive party appeal to the professionals (a.k.a. technocrats) so that they can have a roughly equal voting base while supporting the same right wing policies, since the professionals just want mask-on fascism. This allows the "progressive" parties to take the same corporate sponsors, while trying to appear better than the right-wing parties. The proliferation of conspiracy theories is due to the lack of an alternate narrative as to why everything is getting worse and no problems are actually addressed by our politicians.

What explain or defend her positions? You just don't get it. It is so obvious I shouldn't have to explain it. It is obvious to even the most casual observer upon initial inspection, that I shouldn't have to defend the campaign or justify it.

I actually find C. Derrick Varn's podcast really interesting and informative. I was going to recommend a specific podcast, but his public and patreon feeds have a very loose correlation with episodes coming out months apart on the two feeds. He claims he will finally cut back on his output, but so far he releases almost 5 episodes a week and is one of the most prolific podcasters despite having a day job.

I am mostly promoting this because of how informative I find this podcast, but also because Varn is having some health issues and a crisis of faith in "the left". So, if you are interested in theory, check it out.

He may seem like a nice cat that hates Mondays and loves lasagna, but he is actually a servant of the Kaiser. Garfield aided Adolphe Thiers in ending the Paris Commune and denounced Marx after 1848. He once said in a public statement "Elsaß–Lothringen belongs to the Kaiser". I can't believe you would stan a German Conservative like Garfield.

I thought that non-buff Trump was the indicator that Garrison lost his way, but...

I have taken psychic damage and still don't even comprehend what this is supposed to mean.

I expected higher editorial standards from hexbear.

Does anyone know of good and rigorous/technical economics lectures/podcasts. Doesn't necessarily have to be Marxist, but Heterodox and non-Neo-Classical. Thanks!
