I remember you mentioning your themed watchlists, this one sounds interesting! I don't recall noticing the different variations of the ship, but watching episodes back to back like that would definitely make those things stand out!
I did the same thing with my spouse right after we got married, except with DS9! They really enjoyed it, and we've gradually been working our way through the rest of Star Trek in between other shows.
It's been a little bit since I've seen it, but I remember Lower Decks season 2 being the point that I started enjoying it a lot more! It can be really good at times.
Still on my DS9 highlights watch, and I'm watching the new Lower Decks episodes as they come out.
- LD 5x01 Dos Cerritos
- LD 5x02 Shades of Green
- DS9 4x19 Hard Time
- DS9 4x23 To the Death
- DS9 4x25 Body Parts
- DS9 5x01 Apocalypse Rising
For my main workstation and main laptop:
- Cosmic themed GNOME - I just like the way it looks and works without any changes. The basic tiling functions are something I find helpful at times too.
- Plasma 6 - It works pretty well and looks nice. I don't do a lot of customization, so it's not a big deal to me. For my other machines I'm currently using Cinnamon, GNOME, Budgie, and LXDE.
I enjoyed the episodes, hopefully the rest of the season is as good! There wasn't anything groundbreaking or amazing, but I got a few laughs out of them. T'Lyn's fake dismay at the state of the shuttle at the end of the episode was the funniest segment for me.
Good! I can't watch them until later today, but I'm looking forward to it.
Yeah, I'm not a big fan of the Wesley character! I think the writers could have done a lot better. I like most of the Trek related media Wil Wheaton has done other than that though!
That's definitely is no fun. I ran into that with a couple of communities where my first comment never showed up. Some of them cleared up eventually, but if it doesn't you might need to make an account on another instance. Some instances have defederated from each other, so maybe that's part of the issue.
Yeah, it's sad that it's ending. I'm looking forward to watching it though!
I had thought about doing a post for the episodes, but I wasn't sure how much interest there would be. I'm going to try it see what happens though!
Those are good episodes!
Yes, there's an enormous amount of content there!
In most cases I don't like having other people in games either. It's very immersion breaking to have random people running and jumping off of things and who knows what else! Then you inevitably run into the person that just wants to ruin everyone else's day too.
Interesting, I might have to check that video out when I have some time!
