A friend of mine worked for a FAANG company and he taught me that people get promoted for creating something "new" rather than improving something that already exists.
That about sums it up.
To each his own, but the Branch Ergonomic is the most uncomfortable chair I've ever sat in. It's almost entirely plastic and the lumbar support isn't rigid enough to provide any support. The worst part is they have a 30 DAY return policy. By the time I had used the chair long enough to make an assessment, I was stuck with it.
Very well said. I played with a buddy for like 50 hours before I admitted I just wasn't having fun.
The movie is exceptional also.
L-theanine! Personally I drink black tea every day and it feels much more pleasant. Of course, the methy feeling of coffee is fun, but I'm sweaty and anxious till I crash.
So because you were born with myopia, you don't believe that some people develop it later in life? What are you talking about?
Well that's callous of you. Nobody deserves to die just because they're religious.
Brazil isn't an obscure country, but there's an indigenous band called Uakti that builds their own instruments. It's some of the most unusual music I've heard. They also have some classical albums, and one by Phillip Glass that I like to listen to when I'm coming down from a trip.
They get it, but they believe that some lives are less important than others. When someone holds that position I haven't found an argument to convince them otherwise.
You got me. I made up a story so I could get my one upvote.
