A big part that vegans have to navigate is being in a world where most people are not vegan. Due to this, there will be instances of utter disrespect and discomfort that us vegans tend to get frustrated with. I don't usually have a tendency to shittalk non-vegans as much as I'd just like to call out poor carnist rhetoric that manifests in an anti-vegan fashion or ways adjacent to that. Hell, even my comment here explicitly makes a nod to this. Carnists are explicitly not even allowed in this community, and even then, expressing frustration with neurotypical people, white people, or cisgender people in the context of oppressive structures generally isn't even frowned upon on Hexbear even though there are the occasional (or sometimes not so occasional) privileged people who do not understand this. If you express sentiments demonstrating that you have frustrations with veganism, you definitely aren't allowed in this community, and that's by mere virtue of the rules posted. Hell, going by the rules, no carnist is supposed to post in this community, regardless of how strongly you want to spew anti-vegan vitriol or not. Furthermore, I have made posts that aren't particularly related to non-vegans, but regardless of that, it doesn't matter. You're not making a point that actually holds substance either way. Saying "NT/white/cis people on Hexbear sometimes talk over ND/BIPOC/trans people being frustrated with oppression too!" isn't the point you think it is. It states that Hexbear has more problematic tendencies than expected and fixing that will entail a billion struggle sessions.

P.S. If you're a principled ethical vegan, it's very peculiar that you do not understand what I'm getting at here. If you're a carnist, then you're just proving my point altogether.
