Also wasn't a big chunk of AC Valhalla playing as a Norse invader in England? Idk that game was so dog shit I couldn't get past that chapter.

For me, the magic sauce missing from Valhalla was the sense of living in and seeing an ancient civilization we'll never see again.

I could still stomp around in an English bog now and it probably wouldn't look all that different

Almost all of Valhalla was in England, because you're operating as a raiding party. That's the entire framing device. These people don't even play the games that they're losing their minds about.
