It makes me feel like a fucking idiot every time. I never see a fucking adult trip and fall like I do, and don’t tell me it’s OK or whatever, please—I want to know if it’s normal.

It is not a "weird first conclusion to draw" when talking to a chronic drug abuser. And I say this as a fellow addict: I was not aware that neurological symptoms like that could persist post-withdrawal—even for years!

I'm posting from a place of concern and comradery, not judgment.
