I love cartilage and offal. Never really understood the brainworms people have that makes some part of an animal less gross to eat than other parts. It's all just taste and texture.
I only eat meat as a rare treat these days, but when I do I'll often use heart or liver or something.
It's classism and racism
Poor and non white people eat those undesirable parts
Yeah it sucks. I just don't understand why otherwise normal people still have those brainworms. Like I have a lot of leftist friends that will happily eat a steak, but be weird about the other stuff.
Left economic politics are not necessarily mutually exclusive with racism
Much easier to have beliefs that benefit you than beliefs that don't
For me it's the texture, gives me the heebie-jeebies (not talking about other parts like offal, just meat-related hard, crunchy, slimy textures etc)
