Add a virtual pet mechanic where we raise emojis and power them up via upvotes on posts using them and then battle them whenever someone initiates a battle by typing ENGAGE in a post. (hexbear.net)

Call it a Tamemoji. It gets its own column on your profile page complete with its stats. It evolves digi-like across emojis sharing keywords. Not sure how we'd tier them though.

dunno about them fighting but having a tamagochi type critter tied to the account would be pretty sweet
