It would be so easy to win a national election against Trump. Watch. "I, your democratic candidate, pledge to fight the supermarket, pharmacological, and healthcare cartels that are artificially inflating consumer prices for their own gain."
But democrats don't want to do that.

That's hilarious. Has there ever been a more incompetent politician?
Drain the swamp? I'll put these people on fucking trial and give you their stuff
Hell I'll let you run the trials
"Day one I will kill every billionaire in this country", they'd somehow win 400 electors
You could even just get on stage and call Trump an obese moron^[No body shaming intended] and you'd get 70% of the vote. Any candidate who just presents themselves as a normal human being instead of either a rabid fanatic or three consultancy firms in a trenchcoat gets so popular. Part of the reason Trump won was that he didn't do the weird stiff politiciany talky things.
She actually floated that for a few days but then walked it back. Presumably due to donor pressure or a terrible political team.
IIRC she was pretty weak on it even when she was supposedly "attacking price gouging" as a trial campaign strategy. They always have to equivocate and add a bunch of complicated exceptions and caveats and shit. Like her now-infamous "economic stimulus" for Pell-Grant-recipient "small-business" entrepreneurs in minority neighborhoods (for over 3 years).
I'm sure! And they still walked it back lol
