This is the real life trolley problem.
You either become an active participant to prevent more people from being killed or you leave more people getting killed without participating.
People should have elected a better leader who have a good ethics to stop the killings from happening in the first place.
You have chosen to run over the crowd rather than trying to minimize the disaster. Good thinking.
How so?
People who did not vote are not participants!
They are merely observers. till they make an active choice that impact what is happening in wars.
Dude, even Bernie Sanders realise what is the mistake his party did by electing Harris.
Choosing “not to participate” is inherently a choice.
Keep my Senator's name out ya mouth unless you know him.
Sanders fought like hell for Harris to win because he knew her victory would be better for America and Palestinians... yea he was fucking aware Harris was a bad choice, most of us were, but she was still markedly better for Palestinians than Trump will be.
If you sat out this election, voted for Trump, or voted third party, you have contributed to the death of Palestinians. That's the fucking math. You could have taken an action to save lives and you didn't.
"But both options were shitty!" Grow a fucking pair - one was clearly better even if both sucked.
People who cannot vote, are not participants.
People who chose not to vote when they were able to are. They made a choice and this is the result.
Failure of omission. They failed to act when they could have. It lead to a worse result.
I agree with Bernie's rant today, but he still campaigned and voted against the fascist gaining power. Honestly though, the only state Gaza might have effected is Michigan. America does not care about Gaza. The price of Doritos and a fucking squirrel was more important to most voters.
So Palestine are choosing to run over themselves alone or run over all the people?
This does not make any sense.
No. They are a common victim of the trolley. I simply didn't render the person deciding their vote as, given the topic of discussion at hand, felt it was implied. Clearly I should have foreseen that the complicated moral of "Palestine was fucked either way, but there are other people that can be saved" was too advanced for some.
