Edit: Somehow I misread and thought this was about the Pledge of Allegiance. As has been pointed out below, the Star Spangled Banner was written by racist, slaver Francis Scott Key.
It was written by Francis Scott Key, a racist and slaver. They probably love that about the author.
Actually, Francis Scott Key wrote the Star Spangled Banner, not the Pledge of Allegiance. But, yes, I'm sure they love him for being a racist and slaver.
The Star Spangled Banner is the US national anthem. The article isn't about the pledge of allegiance.
