definitely one of the hardest jobs you can have, sorry you had to put up with that comrade
How do you get on disability?
I'm Autistic, btw.
I'm not really sure. The doctors really like me and see how psychosis has eaten at me over the past few years. I've had a lot of people here advocate for me at important times. Schizophrenia is a much easier sell for disability, and I'm guessing that's why they're offering
Wait, they're offering you disability benefits?
If so, maybe you should take it!
They're getting me applied yeah, they think I have a pretty good case to get it. But that's really up to the state.
Weird question, but do you get the money or benefits directly?
My dad's leg CAME THE FUCK OFF in a motorcycle accident and they reattached it and he went back to work for twenty more years before his disability got approved.
Good luck! I mean that sincerely
I understand, and thank you.
This is why I sometimes order food, tbh.
I'm so glad that my veganism gives me a huge incentive to avoid restaurants as much as possible.
I'm so uncomfortable with the thought of employees fucking up my order or restaurants being untrustworthy that I've gotten nicely adapted to cooking at home 99% of the time. It’s healthier, it’s cheaper, and it encourages you to learn how to cook.
Hell, I don't even like going to exclusively vegan restaurants at this point because there are quite a few brands that eschew animal products which I'm still not comfortable with for personal reasons, such as Beyond, Daiya, Impossible, and MorningStar. I know that a lot of plant-based restaurants still incorporate these products in their dishes.
Some will say the brand name, but some do not. For example, you might see a menu item that simply says "Plant-Based Burger", but it doesn't tell you what brand the patty comes from or if it's homemade or what not, and oftentimes, my socially awkward ass doesn’t feel like pestering the staff to find out.

Honestly, outside of name brands they're not particularly untrustworthy, the employees are usually really chill, and its nice to socialize in public some, but it is 100,000% healthier and cheaper to cook and eat at home, so makes sense to do so for 90%+ of meals
Lifelong cook who's never ever worked fast food cause I just couldn't. Try getting a dish job at a sit down place. If you can handle fast food you're tougher than most cooks.
I actually have 5 years of kitchen experience, from dishwashing to being a capable chef. I tried getting a real kitchen job for a long time with no luck, I'm in good because of desperation :/
They don't even have me as a cook, I just work the window. It's such bullshit.
Daaaang. It's gotta be tough where you are to have a good kitchen resume and not pick up a kitchen job. That's supposed to be part of that deal, it's a rough gig thst pays bad but you can find a job easy
Never been to McDonalds (or basically any other fast food restaurant).
My dietary choices definitely help with that, there's only one kind of "meat" I eat.
Oh! Like a pescatarian?
cw: sexual
dick. I meant I suck dick. 0% chance I'm eating dead flesh.
I fucking hate the entitlement of the general public.
