I usually screenshot stuff that makes me laugh or that I want to riff on with friends. I've been playing the Star Ocean remake the past few days and have been taking screenshots of the developers going a little overboard on the fetish dialogue. Like I've only played the second game but I don't remember it being this horny.
It's like taking photos, just because it's digital doesn't mean they aren't real memories worth capturing, I think it's great. This reminded me I have screenshots from the PS3 playing Little Big Planet with my mom who passed away. She never liked having her photo taken but she was proud of her character haha.
I do this too and I think it's great. I still have my screenshots from my 3DS, and seeing my old Animal Crossing town is really nostalgic.
I do screenshot a lot with games mostly when I beat a level or whatever.
But I do screenshot a high amount with movies/tv shows. I have screnshots from 2014/15. They all amount to at least over 7 gb. I don't know for sure. I have way too many screenshots of sopranos cause I rewatch it often. I still screenshot games a lot.
Usually when it looks nice. I have been playing this game Dusk, which looks like quake but better. Its this game with some surreal horror elements set in like a backwater American town with kkk cultists. I take a lot screenshots of it cause it looks great and has a nice color palette I like.
Here's some dusk
I also play doom a lot
Why do people screenshot stuff?
What can I do with my screenshots?
Memories to look back on, I also apply the same thing to photos of which i have billions documenting everything since I basically got a camera. Its fun to scroll through and see what i did
oh damn, you document them too!
I screenshot tv/movies I watch a lot. Its partially a time capsule. I go back to screenshots of my desktop from like 2015. I lost that hardrive cause windows fried it. But I saved the screenshots. I just screenshot whatever. Sometimes I go back to the screenshots to find the torrent encode names.
Maybe I should do this...
