This goose is a great eared nightjar. What a funny little dragon fella.
Love nightjars. Big fan of how their beak looks like it has another pair of tiny eyes above it, like this is a large elaborate bird suit for a smaller bird.

does the tiny bird hiding in it's face control the body.
