Well yes. Thats what the whole conserve part of conservative is about. They want to prevent change because they believe all change is bad.
At this point they are the ones wanting the change. The change backwards! The original change they are fighting against has already happened.
They've been behind some of the most radical change over the last half century, at least in the US.
Finally people are talking about this, it's easily the scariest part of Project 2025. Arresting LGBTQ+ people and grouping them with child abusers is exactly how the Holocaust started.
