NZ went super hard on neoliberalism, much worse than Australia - they've done some more tokenism (now ripped up by Luxon) but the outcomes are still shit

Idk if I'd describe NZ politics as "much worse" than Australia but they're both absolute shit that's for sure
I meant in relation to domestic policy, though Australia is closing that gap and exceeding NZ on neoliberal brutality on a couple of fronts
But you still have odd things like no capital gains tax in New Zealand and a very low maximum income tax rate
Its such blatant sowing of fear after the Voice referendum.
They don't want indigenous peoples to get even a largely symbolic gesture, and to make sure it never even approaches a ballot box ever again, we're going to air documentaries about dystopias where indigenous peoples have an ounce of power!

I can't take New Zealand seriously with that accent of theirs. They destroyed the Maori language and culture just to walk around saying "deck" like "deeke." Seriously should deport all white New Zealanders back to the UK or at least Australia so they can learn to talk in a way that makes sense.
