"You want to know whats the biggest difference between me and biden? Im actually going to try be way worse" jokermala

Dems believe 2 things: republicans are a threat to democracy and Bipartisant politics are important

[–] [email protected] 37 points 1 month ago (1 children)

"Republicans are nazis and they're integral to our polutical system"

[–] [email protected] 5 points 1 month ago* (last edited 1 month ago)

Both of these statements are true.

“Voting for me is voting for republicans to govern” -Kamala Harris

Well at least she makes the decision easy

[–] [email protected] 55 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Voting for Trump? That's a vote for Trump

Non-voting? That's a vote for Trump

Voting for Kamala? Actually a half vote for Trump

[–] [email protected] 19 points 1 month ago

That's called harm reduction sweaty, see I only half voted for Trump

“Generic brand: Now we taste just as good as the name brand you love!”

“…wait, why are you still choosing the name brand? I thought you’d appreciate us now!”

[–] [email protected] 72 points 1 month ago (1 children)

lathe-of-heaven kamala wins and passes project 2025 herself to bridge the gap between progressives and conservatives

[–] [email protected] 30 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Lol this is going to happen. Last election charade “critical leftist” did the same thing with Biden and look what happened.

[–] [email protected] 19 points 1 month ago (2 children)

clueless "I'm going to be voting for kamala bc those are the conditions I want to organize under"

power-stride I'm putting Republicans in my cabinet and I'm cutting the budget for education and healthcare to fund the police

[–] [email protected] 12 points 1 month ago

"More funding for cities... cop cities!"

Democrats continuously gaslighting themselves into believing that there's this huge base of "moderate" anti-Trump Republican voters is fascinating

[–] [email protected] 28 points 1 month ago

It's the sift of the Democrats into the 2000's Republican party. They are just neocons running the party for neocons.

[–] [email protected] 16 points 1 month ago (1 children)

It really is wild how the democrats entire electoral strategy has been missing off 98% of the country tonappeal to exactly 8 people in the Midwest.

It's really past the point where I can give them the benefit of the doubt and it becomes pretty obvious they'd prefer to lose to republicans than concede to their left.

[–] [email protected] 6 points 1 month ago* (last edited 1 month ago)

It's been said around here before (just a little while ago in one of the similar threads. edit: here) that the democrats aren't seeking moderate or republican voters, they are seeking republican donors. Their strategy suddenly makes much more sense when seen through that lens. Even setting that aside though, they would absolutely prefer to lose to Republicans than concede to the left. It's basically the same idea as class solidarity in that they will always be on the side of those who actually share their interests, even if they are in competition with them, rather than side with those who oppose their interests, even when doing so could give them a competitive advantage over their supposed adversaries in an election.

[–] [email protected] 4 points 1 month ago

I think one problem not mentioned yet is how much of democrat leadership works closely with republicans throughout their daily lives. These ghouls grow up going to the same schools. They work at the same law firms doing the same internships. Then they get careers where they have to talk to republicans on a daily basis. Sometimes it's on the phone, sometimes it's over meals.

They've stared too long into the abyss. They get used to coming to an agreement with GOP serial killers over what catering to order for dinner, they start thinking it works for healthcare bills.

I do think they're also deliberate in guarding capitalism from leftwing mobs. I haven't said anything new, this is class solidarity manifesting among the bourgeois. I just wonder if there's actual, true believers in "reaching across the aisle" or if it's a cynical ploy to invent reality.

Do libs remember how much they hated Manchin and death-to-the-poor for siding with republicans? Fuck it, let's put the real deal in a position of power. Maybe nominate one for a spot on the supreme court. Oh wait, Obama already did that. bangs head against desk it's never going to fucking change

[–] [email protected] 10 points 1 month ago

Not with that attitude gui

[–] [email protected] 10 points 1 month ago

I wish someday I could find somebody who loves me half as much as democrats love losing elections.

Btw Trump was planning to remove troops from western europe, while the “great atlantic friendship” got restored under biden.

[–] [email protected] 5 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Trump put US troops in Poland so i won't believe that.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Well thats why I said western europe haha

[–] [email protected] 3 points 1 month ago

Yeah but zero chance for that too, especially not Germany.

[–] [email protected] 27 points 1 month ago

They let her on the View? Even for them that's pretty low.

[–] [email protected] 26 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Boy there was like 2 weeks there where I was worried that I was gonna anhave to vote for ka.ala because the dems were technically doing what I hoped they would and seemed like it made sense to at least acknowledge the effort by biting my tongue and voting foe her.

Really appreciate the last few weeks of making it perfectly clear she's just as bad if not worse than Biden on all her policies.

Good luck with the voting bloc or "people who don't hate Dick Cheyney and want republican cabinet members and aren't already voting republican"

[–] [email protected] 5 points 1 month ago* (last edited 1 month ago)

Right?? They dumped Biden, Harris skipped Netanyahu's address, she didn't pick Josh Shapiro as her running mate, it really looked like the Party was capitulating to our demands.

They couldn't even pretend for a full month.

"i'm going to run so far to the right of Biden, push Trump out of the way, kick Hitler in the face and throw myself across the finish line into a reactionary Void you can't possibly comprehend" jokermala

This is actually great, maybe the morons among us will finally realize that the single biggest threat to socialist/progressive (limp-dick, I know) mobilization in the United States is the Democratic Party.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 1 month ago

unfotunately, you have once again overestimated the morons. i know at least one who responded to this with "she's being quoted out of context".
