Rules: (interactive)
1) Be nice and; have fun
Doxxing, trolling, sealioning, racism, and toxicity are not welcomed in AskLemmy. Remember what your mother said: if you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all. In addition, the site-wide Lemmy.world terms of service also apply here. Please familiarize yourself with them
2) All posts must end with a '?'
This is sort of like Jeopardy. Please phrase all post titles in the form of a proper question ending with ?
3) No spam
Please do not flood the community with nonsense. Actual suspected spammers will be banned on site. No astroturfing.
4) NSFW is okay, within reason
Just remember to tag posts with either a content warning or a [NSFW] tag. Overtly sexual posts are not allowed, please direct them to either [email protected] or [email protected].
NSFW comments should be restricted to posts tagged [NSFW].
5) This is not a support community.
It is not a place for 'how do I?', type questions.
If you have any questions regarding the site itself or would like to report a community, please direct them to Lemmy.world Support or email [email protected]. For other questions check our partnered communities list, or use the search function.
Reminder: The terms of service apply here too.

I took care of one of my mother's dogs, an overeater bordering on obese (the dog, my mother weighs 120 freedom units).
I went through about four different dog food brands before settling on RRs, apparently it's good enough to eat when hungry, but not good enough to gorge.
So in short, I like her dog food because it's adequate.
Reading that was a rollercoaster of horror and confusion, ending in relief.
That was unexpectedly hilarious.
Never really liked her but mostly don't think about her.
If there's two things I know about white people, it's that they love Rachel Ray, and they're terrified of curses.
That's a huge generisation. Most white people, including me, have no idea who Rachel Ray is.
Its a quote from the TV show parks and rec, not a generalized comment. BTW totally recommend it. Skip the fist season though.
I think of the FHM photo shoot. I approve.
well Look at that, definitely never saw those before.
Rachel Ray is for people that aren't sciencey enough for Alton Brown. I'm sure she has some good recipes, but she lent her name to a lot of bad products. I would not feed my pets her pet food.
Who is that? I looked up a picture but still got no idea.
I have never heard or read that name before, so I think absolutely nothing about that person. I am going to look it up after saving this comment.
I have an irrational dislike of her voice and the way she talks but nothing against her as a person or a professional.
Dog food lady?
I seem to remember many years ago if I was home from school hers was one of the better daytime TV talk shows.
Her recipes are alright. Nothing super special, but she's good at knowing when she can take a shortcut and when she should do something the hard way
I use her recipe for oven fries.
I don't know who it is, thank god.
She does cooking shows. Seems like a wholesome gal to me.
I'm happy she is not just a celebrity for looks at least...
