Just replying with a quick apology. Was mildly hammered and upset when I wrote this. Directing blame at the wrong spot. Not voting was definitely an issue, but I skipped the bigger issue. So after the supreme court dictaminated that the president has absolute immunity during official function, they could have done literally anything to prevent this brand of fascism from going into the institutions. Turns out they would rather lose the elections.
