Based journalist. I remember when it happened and even baby me knew it was justified.

It was pretty funny, only the News people, who are usually libs pro-US, were angry at it. Everyone else was laughing and making jokes, I think there was even a Flash game about this. TV shows were mocking Bush 24/7 lol.

Bush was pretty much hate by everyone besides Gusanos who love every US president (except for Biden lol). And Bush had better relations with LatAm than Obama.

I was stilling in primary school (elementary school) in New Zealand. We woke up to it being all over the news. We then went to school and first thing we had an assembly in the hall so the principal could make a statement about it. How crazy is that?

Omg do you remember what the statement was at all? That is wild to me, I could never imagine something like that happening in a US school. We are so ignorant of world news/politics, it's embarrassing

I think it was something like:

"Yes I know it was pretty disturbing what happened in the US today but let's try to just treat today like any other day. We will be offering council long to students with family in New York etc."

Lmao counseling for the shoe-ing?! That's the best thing I've ever heard. I couldn't keep a straight face if I were that counselor

I heard he is a pretty cool guy. He was promoting Pro-George Floyd protests on his twitter, I think he said he thought there was chance for social change and social justice in the US.
