Example:

  1. Articles must be relevant to politics. Links must be to quality and original content. Articles should be worth reading. Clickbait, stub articles, and rehosted or stolen content are not allowed. Check your source for Reliability and Bias here.
  2. Be civil, No violations of TOS. It’s OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It’s NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). Strong language is fine, just not directed at other members. Engage in good-faith and with respect! This includes accusing another user of being a bot or paid actor. 3. No memes, trolling, or low-effort comments. Reposts, misinformation, off-topic, trolling, or offensive. Similarly, if you see posts along these lines, do not engage. Going forward, slapfights will result in removed comments and temp bans to cool off.
  4. Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.

All posts and comments will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This means that some content that violates the rules may be allowed, while other content that does not violate the rules may be removed. The moderators retain the right to remove any content and ban users.

That's all the rules!

Who cares what this orange turd says about any subject? Especially ones on which he's woefully unqualified to opine

An alarmingly large number of people

There are no comprehensive alternatives that can functionally fill the gap. They have had more than enough time to make one. Its all posturing. Opposition and faking until enough power is accumulated that it is no longer necessary to do so. That's the plan.

There's Medicare for all, but obviously that's not what Trump is looking at.

But then we'd leave the insurance companies out in the cold

[–] [email protected] 12 points 1 year ago

They should be actively destroyed.

Meanwhile, the American people are being left out in the cold. I know which I prefer.

Well the American people should ~~Bribe~~ Lobby more, like the Healthcare industry does.

The alternative is "If you get sick, you die, because God doesn't like you."

This tired lie again? It's amazing how stupid his supporters are.

The amazing and perfect Republican healthcare plan is just two weeks away.

Right after Infrastructure Week!

2017: “We have come up with a solution that’s really, really I think very good,”
“Now , I have to tell you, it’s an unbelievably complex subject,” he added. “Nobody knew health care could be so complicated.”
“We have a plan that I think is going to be fantastic. It’s going to be released fairly soon,” Trump said Monday. “I think it’s going to be something special … I think you’re going to like what you hear.”

But he told the CEOs that if the plan doesn’t accomplish his goals, they’d face his ire.

“If things don’t work out I’m blaming you anyway,” he said.

Regarding the 2017 comment: I was at work and read that quote "nobody knew healthcare could be so complicated" and I laughed hard for a while. Then sighed. Then I had to go for a walk. Deep down I had really doubted someone could get that far in life and be as dumb as he appeared to be. That statement shredded that thought. He wasn't acting. He was really that dumb, and the next three years were going to be rough.

[–] [email protected] 11 points 1 year ago

And the next three years were, perhaps, rougher than you could have imagined.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 1 year ago

hey lets not forget that obamacare is the republican think tank plan but tweaked with things they don't like. profit caps, no lifetime caps, requirements to provide care, etc, etc.

[–] [email protected] 19 points 1 year ago

Tell us about the infrastructure programs next.

[–] [email protected] 8 points 1 year ago

He should seriously look at suicide.

[–] [email protected] 6 points 1 year ago

In other words: big Pharma tax breaks and eliminating the ACA.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 1 year ago

Whatever it is, it'll be the best healthcare in the history of the world. Outside of the hated Socialist and Communist healthcare, of course.

Figuring out how he can profit from them.
