amerikkka Death to America and viva la revolucion! diaz-canel-troll fidel-bat che

Was just thinking about this since I’m wearing my Cuba WBC cap around town (from the most recent WBC when Cuba was actually “allowed” to be in charge of their own team).

The imperialists may have put a man on the moon, but they'll never put a man in Havana.

Fidel Castro was a saint compared to most these pedo world leaders. The more I read about Cuba the more in awe I am of what they've been able to accomplish. Especially, being so close to the US.

He killed business owners. Still think he's a "saint"?

I'm writing to the vatican to make it official

Many priests have been excommunicated when they got too badass practicing liberation theology. So not so sure.

Hmm, idk. Is there something better than a Saint?

in a better society we would be singing songs of Castro as a heroic demigod figure, like Hercules

If the US never had that embargo and simply had a "you believe this, I believe that. May the best economic system win." mindset, I am sure Cuba would make Sweden look like Mississippi to libs.

just reminded me this was what Henry Wallace (FDR's vice pres until replaced by truman) planned to do instead of the cold war and made me wistful for things that we weren't able to have

[–] [email protected] 15 points 9 months ago

Imagine what could've been instead of the cold war sadness

They have better rum too. I got to have some Havana Club when I went abroad. It was as cheap as that gusano Bacardi shit but wayyy better

[–] [email protected] 26 points 9 months ago

Fun fact, Havana Club is distilled in the old Bacardi factory in Cuba that was nationalized in the years after the revolution.

I've heard talk that the Bacardi family still has a bounty for some bathtub or something to be retrieved from the factory lol. Gusanos still butthurt about not being able to exploit Cubans.

Another WBC watcher? That shit is always fun to watch

Yeah I initially didn’t care for it, but it’s really grown on me over the years. Seems like fans in Latam really get into it, so that’s good enough for me.

I think this last time around was the first time that Cuba actually got to run the Cuba team (before I think was basically run by gusanos apart from the Cuban govt.
