I believe it. They’re primarily using missiles that take a predictable, ballistic arc, which makes them very easy for the Iron dome system to intercept. Furthermore, Iran’s responses so far have seemed very carefully measured so that only a few missiles get through the iron dome. Based on previous strikes, it seems like they could overwhelm Israel just through sheer numbers, yet they haven’t.

That’s not really what posy truth is about IMO.

I largely agree with what you said but Trump and Vance's lies are a contributing factor to our post truth world. They're following people like Putin and trying to create an environment where the truth is malleable to the point of being worthless and people are conditioned to believe there is no longer such a thing as objective truth because that environment gives them the greatest chance of maintaining power.

We have more overt fact-checking. if that trend continues, it can help push back on the patent falsehoods.

We don't though. Fact checking after the debate is of limited use. If you don't confront a lie the second it's told, the liar will rapidly go on to tell more lies and you end up with a Gish gallop of bullshit which is what we saw from Vance and Trump. They got away with it. A fact checking article on NPR the morning after does very little.

I'm sure the instruction came from higher up. Trump is great for business, he drives engagement, so more viewers, so more ad revenue.

If the moderators are OK with this, as in they're not speaking out, then I'd hesitate to call them journalists.

I'm not exactly a linux beginner but I'm far from an expert and I could use some pointers. I have a domain and a VPS through Namecheap, I chose Ubuntu 20.04 LAMP and I've tried several guides to get this working but something always goes wrong sooner or later.

No errors until the docker-compose up -d command, then
