For most people the imperial system is better. Fahrenheit puts 0-100 in relation to how humans feel heat, 0 is very cold, 100 is very hot, neither will kill you if you take minor precautions. Feet are the same, most everyday objects are spread across 0-10 feet long/tall. Using celsius and meters requires using a scale between -18 and 38, and a scale between 0 and 3.3. Both are clearly inferior number ranges to use when we arent required to.

What is the point of news if not to provide a broader context for the facts being reported? The reason CNN, Fox, and MSNBC are all fake news is not that they dont report facts, its because they fail to report the actual truth that the base level facts indisputably point to. Its quite easy to report only the facts that suggest a false narrative. For instance, those networks rarely if ever report the horrific acts being committed by israel daily, which gives their viewers the false impression that israel is a victim. Reporting only facts in that instance is the same thing as lying, becce they selectively leave out facts that show the narrative theyre pushing is a lie.
Very few countries, if any, give legal preferance to one ethnicity except for israel. China is almsot entirely chinese people, but if a white person moves there they are not discriminated against by the government.
It is factually Mitt Romney's opinion, who is a sitting senator. That is factual news, ot spin.
Anything that suggests you believe the current state of the world is acceptable outs you as a lib. Saying things like "Yeah Biden's got some problems, but at least he didn't do a few of the things trump did." If you believe that things would have been fine were it not for trump, you're a lib. Heres a great summary of liberalism: "If we put forward good policies into the politics machine, then other people will too, and because I have absolute faith in the system established by a bunch of slave owners, whatever comes out MUST be just and good." Which of course implies that if the result you want or need DOESNT come out of the politics machine, it is right and just that you should not get it.
Like, they fundamentally don't realize that the politics machine is capable of breaking, and that it has been broken for a LONG time (basically the moment it was asked to value the needs of someone who wasn't wealthy, white, and male.)

FWIW, I think that episode is one of the weakest early season episodes. It's somehow both too explicit and not explicit enough, because their world doesn't make any sense beyond simply "capitalism". The rest are a lot more in the realm of existential horror and questioning the morality of things. Black mirror just isn't a good medium for an explanation of why capitalism is evil.

Why on earth do so many people not realize that if you vote for a corpse, he doesnt actually get to be president? If the corpse wins, we wont even know who the president is. Imagine electing trump, but hes entirely unaccountable to anybody because nobody knows who he is. Thats what would happen if we elect a corpse. Maybe this is a hot take, but I think there should be a president.
