ClownStrike had a massive, glaring issue with their main functionality that is THEIR COMPANY’S ONLY REASON FOR EXISTING that has been correctly attributed to criminally inept architecture decisions, no redundancy, no checks, no safety measures, and no accountability.
If I made the executive decision to design a system without any safety measures that could potentially push unchecked, malicious code to 90% of the computers that the business world runs on, I would be sued into dust. Honestly, if there were any justice in the world, the people at CrowdStrike that designed such a shite system should do actual prison time for their ineptitude.
I still, to this day, get chills when I hear that middle section in Orion. If Cliff hadn't have died, the world of metal would be incredibly different. ALL of the good material on Justice is written by Cliff at least in some part. The two untouchable members of Metallica, to me, are Cliff Burton, and James Hetfield, the finest rhythm guitar player that has ever lived.
Cliff's songwriting and Hetfield's rhythm playing would have produced hundreds more classics. He was like the McCartney of metal. Sucks that Bob Rock had such an indelible mark on Metallica.

That has been their opening music since the early 90’s or even earlier. I think Justice was the first time they started using it.
You guys will probably groan but lots of people in this comment section should look into NixOS. My old Ubuntu machine was loaded with hacks I got from stack overflow to get certain things working (a script that runs at boot and shutdown to mount and unmount some network drives I wanted to appear natively). But now, I just use NixOS and there’s nothing on my machines that is even remotely hackey now. I just declare the drives as I want them and when I boot they are there and work as needed.
