Never played it so I don't know. The extra cache on the x3d cpus makes a big difference in some games and a few applications, but no difference in others.

probably something else for AMD

Maybe due to the 9000 series being lackluster so far. They're expensive and the 7800X3D is still top performer in games.

It's incredible how bad Intel squandered their dominant position in recent years. I wonder if Nvidia will ever shit the bed like that.

The 7800X3D. This is the only time I've ever splurged on a computer, but then again I'll probably keep it for 10 years like I did with the previous one I had.

Bought my computer half a year ago thinking I was being a bit hasty what with the next CPU gen right around the corner and all. But now when I check in on the state of the market, the price would actually be higher if I bought the same computer today stonks-up

People talk proudly about shitting on company time but then they turn around and criticize this

The number of utilitons produced in my brain by shoving the author of this into a locker would exceed the number lost by the author from getting shoved into a locker. Therefore, it is a moral imperative that I do so.

I mean funny

I found it funny that I've been tinkering with mods and settings, unsuccessfully trying to get the game to run at all on Windows, but then it started up right away on Epic Games Store through Lutris. Now I just gotta figure out how to cap the frame rate. e: found an fps limiter on nexus mods, now everything works perfectly!

Previously I had a similar experience where Far Cry 1 wouldn't run on any Windows newer than XP, but worked perfectly on Linux.

I'd do it for $5 if I could wash my hands immediately after. Otherwise I'd charge a lot more, depending on circumstances.

  1. No more need for toilets. With today's housing prices, the sqm price of an apartment has reached exorbitant levels. Currently, toilets take chunk of that space. They use a lot of water too.

  2. No more need to leave your bedroom to take a crap, wasting precious time that you could be using to contribute to the economy (or gaming). In that sense, it's kinda like ordering food instead of making it yourself.

  3. Street cleaner demand would explode, further helping the struggling economy. There would be a massive demand for street cleaners to wash away all the thrown out feces. You might think hiring a bunch of extra cleaners would be a burden, but it would surely be offset by the reduced load on sewage treatment plants from people not having toilets to flush.

People pay money for shit like this

AITA? (hexbear.net)

I like to push boundaries and challenge people's prejudice every now and then. So I walked into the reception at work today, climbed a table, pulled down my pants, and took a huge dump on it. Somebody contacted security, who refused to hear me out and forcibly removed me from the premises.

People are up in arms about my "disgusting behavior" but they have yet to offer a SINGLE logical argument for why they think what I did was wrong. "It's unsanitary" Not if you don't touch the poop. Are you some kind of poop toucher? "It's offensive" that's your subjective opinion, hardly grounds to fire me. "People can't work like this, they are distracted by the smell" lady how prude do you have to be to pretend to never have been to a bathroom? It's a natural scent, you should be used to it.

Even HR couldn't come up with anything rational to say, they just told me not to come back to the office. The fact that everyone got so emotional about the whole thing must mean that I'm doing something right! Right?
