It really is, isn't it. And I'm so glad we're finally saying so out loud. It's peurile, it's immature, it's disrespectful... But it's also astonishingly weird. It's a weird thing to do. It's a grown man behaving like the most annoying of schoolyard bullies. And that is just plain weird.

If they're real - and frankly, they do seem to be - eventually he'll have to address it, because no-commenting every time they're brought up will just make it look like he has something to hide.
What would they need to take time to do? If the photos were AI fakes, it would take about ten seconds to prove it. Then you laugh them off dismissively and move on. This "no comment" stuff is precisely why the photos are gaining credibility.
Normally, I'd assume it was like the couch thing, but the Trump campaign has very specifically not denied that the photos are real. Since that denial would be incredibly easy if the photos couldn't be verified, it's looking more and more like they're legit.
