It’s kinda true in the sense that:

  • One side hates him because he tried to kill their god.

  • Another side hates him because he missed.

  • And another side hates him for attempting it in the first place because all it does is make an already very unstable political situation even worse no matter the outcome.

What about the IPv4 versions? I use Mullvad and ControlD on my router that only accepts IPv4 for DNS configuration.

Right, which was why my wife had a hard time because she was trying to solve it with that in mind. And I didn’t try it because of the same reason, and was spoiled after she solved it.

I didn’t bother attempting this as I know almost nothing about Hello Kitty other than Badbadtz and Kerokero. My wife who’s a little familiar had a hard time.

Wow that is very bad luck.

Snowflake is in deep shit with the domino effect on that breach.

Well I did, so shrug I guess I’m an outlier. My home search was very limited to one county so I could make sure we were covered by that city’s resources. Besides, I didn’t say it had to be the only reason. Just answering OPs question on how people live with those private unregulated utilities, which I did by avoiding them altogether.

By living in an area that has a regulated utility provider. One of the primary requirements I have when choosing a place to live is to make sure the utility provider in the area is a regulated entity.

I had the opportunity to see the first 10 minutes of Part 1 in an advanced teaser back then. I wish they also did the same this time around, as this seems to be an exclusive event instead of opening it to a limited number of audiences from the public.

So I prefer to use a DNS blocker (DoH) on my IOS devices to block ads, malware, and trackers. For the longest time I’ve been using Aha DNS Blitz because it allows you to choose the exact filter lists you want to enable. Recently I saw Mullvad now has their own DoH service as well and I’m trying it out now. It’s not as customizable as you can only choose a combination of the general categories (ads, malware, tracking, social, gambling, etc.). On the other hand, Mullvad runs everything on RAM now and they are very transparent of their methods and have a proven track record.

I’d like to get the community’s opinion on which of the two you prefer and why.

I don't see a discussion thread for the recently concluded Attack on Titan anime series, so here it is. Mods, feel free to delete if inappropriate.

Narwhal released v2 of their app today to the general public. As a loyal narwhal user before I moved to lemmy, I still had the app on my phone so I checked it out.

The app now shows your api usage so you know how much you’ll need to pay based on your average browsing habits. It’s making users uncomfortable because they can’t browse carefree knowing the counter goes up every time they do something in the app.

Such a shame because the new app version is beautiful, but look at what reddit is forcing app devs to do just so their app can live on.

We have a 12 and 14 ProMax and I noticed the new color scheme change on the 12. For example, the yellow to red-orange change on the calculator buttons, and the blue to dark-blue change on the wifi/data/BT/airplane buttons in control center. However, it didn't change on the 14. Anyone know if there's a setting somewhere to change this?

I know a lot people dismiss kpop, but some newer kpop groups have released some serious quality music videos, this one being a very recent example. It's a 2-parter video to complete the story, so after watching side A, make sure to watch side B:

I was an avid single player gamer a long long time ago (15+ years) and the recent Quake II remaster sparked the nostalgia in me and now I want start playing all my favorite classic games (StarCraft, Diablo II, Quake 2 and 3, Battlefield 2, etc.) again.

The problem is I mostly have old hardware. My old HP laptop running Arch just died recently and my old MSI laptop running Mint that I use as a media player connected to my tv is too slow to run games properly.

So I was thinking of buying one of those mini PCs or compact desktops that run around $200-$250 to dual boot Windows (don’t wanna waste the free license if it comes with it) and Linux and use it as a gaming machine. I’m so behind with pc specs nowadays so I wanted to ask the community for recommendations. I’ll be playing mostly the classic games above and their remastered versions so I don’t really need a top of the line machine, just something decent that isn’t too far behind and can still run some current games if I ever find anything new interesting.

Any suggestions please? Thanks!
