Der Sammler fand den Rucksack in einem Waldgebiet im Stadtteil Mengede. Wie die Polizei am Sonntag mitteilte, befanden sich in dem Rucksack unter anderem mehrere Handgranaten, eine Mörsergranate und Maschinengewehrmunition.

Nachdem der Mann die Poliei verständigt hatte, nahmen Spezialisten des Kampfmittelräumdienstes vom Landeskriminalamt eine kontrollierte Sprengung der Granaten sowie der Munition vor. Die Polizei ermittelt nun gegen Unbekannt wegen Verstoßes gegen das Kriegswaffenkontrollgesetz.

Ich dachte erst, es würde sich um übersehene Hinterlassenschaften des Zweiten Weltkriegs handeln. Offenbar waren die Granaten und Munition jedoch aktuelleren Datums.

Has any country actually implemented the 4 day work week or is it just some hype that will never amount to anything? I have heard that it has been done in Sweden, Canada, Denmark successfully. There was even a trial in the U.K. at some point. But the U.K. seems to be moving in the opposite direction, with employers asking for more hours and less WFH, maybe this will change with a Labour government… I hope! 4 day week would have such a huge positive impact on the nation’s mental health.

So I work cashier at a small retail store and our manager recently sent out a blast saying we could no longer have water bottles tucked under the front desk because it “looks bad to customers”. I’m not talking out on the check out counter, I mean tucked underneath. Management got rid of our stools about 6 months ago so we’re standing for 7+ hours, and now we can’t even have water at the front. When I asked what I should do if I get thirsty (I have T1 diabetes so I’m like, always thirsty) they said to call for a stand in and go to the back of the store to drink water. Sorry for the rant, it’s just so enraging.
