This is just the stupidest fucking decision Sony could have made and it's probably going to kill the game
Sony, MS and Nintendo have been in a real race to the bottom lately
What did Microsoft do recently?

Shoving a fuckload of ads into W11 that are also indistinguishable from OS functions until you click them comes to mind
The best and worst part of MS' gaming division is that they're pretty much ignored by corporate.

Wasn't thinking of anything in particular but I guess buying Bethesda and letting Todd make Starfield for one
MS gave all their simps heart attacks recently by announcing that exclusives won't be exclusive anymore or some shit i don't care about not owning a current console
IIRC everything on XBox is also on PC via the MS store, which calls into question why the XBox needs to exist.

It's one of the more successful games in history and at least half the players are on playstation. This sucks but the game will likely be fine.
With Sony in charge of setting revenue goals? The amount of money they're making will be downgraded from "obscene" and that might be enough to liquidate them
