Hinkle was recently featured by the NYT as the face of the rising anti-imperialist and pro-Palestinian movements.

Today, he says he is a Stalinist and a Maoist who was expelled from the Communist Party of the United States. (Roberta Wood, a party leader in Chicago, said he subscribed to the newsletter but had never joined the party and did not reflect its values.) He once supported Bernie Sanders, but now praises Donald Trump.

He is, he wrote last year, an “American PATRIOT, GOD fearing, Pro-FAMILY, Marxist Leninist, Pro-PALESTINE, RUSSIA & CHINA, Anti-DEEP STATE, Anti-IMPERIALIST, Anti-WOKE, Pro-GROWTH, ANTI-MONOPOLY, Pro-GUN, Pro-FOSSIL FUEL.”

Now liberals everywhere will continue to associate those ideologies with uncritical support for Putin and anti-LGBT views. blob-no-thoughts

I'm so ootl, does the CIA just pay these people to have the worst viewpoints ever and say they're ML?

[–] [email protected] 58 points 4 months ago

Pretty much.

[–] [email protected] 29 points 4 months ago (1 children)

Which raises the question of why so many hexbearites are disagreeing with me without getting paid. They're leaving money on the table.

[–] [email protected] 15 points 4 months ago (1 children)

My bad takes are probably still too good for the CIA to fund.

[–] [email protected] 8 points 4 months ago (1 children)

Depends on if you've ever disagreed with me tbh

[–] [email protected] 6 points 4 months ago

A quick look at your posts tells me I probably haven't

peppino-angry I'm fucking pissed this guy is getting so much traction not only in the mainstream press but annoyingly on some smaller independent Chinese media, he's 100% being promoted by the bourgeoisie so these types are the face of "leftism" in the minds of liberals/hogs.

This man is a walking contradiction

"American PATRIOT... Marxist Leninist"

Imma reserve a special guillotine for this one

[–] [email protected] 15 points 4 months ago

We'll paint the guillotine red white and blue for him

Lol so the people were 100% when they said he’s a fed and not just some random reactionary.

But what are the chances it’s even dumber? What are the chances the feds purposely leaned into this angle for division but he’s genuinely not an agent at all and just morally bankrupt and doesn’t care about anything? I mean ultimately he carries out their agenda intentionally or not so it doesn’t matter, but it just seems too perfect that a psyop soldier is publicly involved with him, yes?

[–] [email protected] 49 points 4 months ago (2 children)

It does make their job easier if they pick a guy that is organically annoying. So that would probably be part of it. Less chance of him messing up and breaking character as well.

[–] [email protected] 36 points 4 months ago

they used to find people already saying what they wanted in zines or whatever and then backing them rather than directly commissioning propaganda, no reason to think they wouldn't find indoctrinated jackasses to prop up doing the current thing.

He was hanging out with Russian soldiers and talked in a video conference in Iran. It seems like this dude is either the most annoying, successful modern day spy, or he’s useful to every agency in the world because he might give you something valuable if you treat him right lol

[–] [email protected] 21 points 4 months ago

To paraphrase Gabriel Rockhill, the CIA doesn't generally and doesn't need to pay puppets to spread its propaganda; it pays to build and support a marionette theatre to promote the performances of those who already and/or are willing to say what the CIA wants you to hear.

[–] [email protected] 47 points 4 months ago

Lmfao this dude is a straight opp. I've never seen him before but heard his name, and now I can see what a clown he is

Lets start a hexbear communist surf gang and drown these fuckers in the lineup.

We’ll say a baby shark ate them.

[–] [email protected] 26 points 4 months ago (2 children)

"Hexbear, will you please repeat for the jury your version of events? What happened to Jackson Hinkle on the beach that day?"

baby shark doo doo doo doo doo doo

Our only statement to the court is that the court and its representatives are deeply unserious.

I found a YouTube link in your comment. Here are links to the same video on alternative frontends that protect your privacy:

Is that Tulsi Gabbard on the other side?

[–] [email protected] 35 points 4 months ago (1 children)
[–] [email protected] 33 points 4 months ago

Omg really?

This is insane.

[–] [email protected] 9 points 4 months ago

I think Tulsi is the psyops officer OP is referring to

[–] [email protected] 31 points 4 months ago* (last edited 4 months ago) (2 children)

"Riding Rage Over Israel to Online Prominence"

Lol NYT is saying he is a grifter.

[–] [email protected] 37 points 4 months ago* (last edited 4 months ago)

And other anti-imperialists by association. IMO it's psyop to promote the idea that there exists a red/brown alliance, which is something feds have repeatedly done.

Hinkle a deep state psyop confirmed.

[–] [email protected] 23 points 4 months ago* (last edited 4 months ago) (1 children)

Not doubting it, but who's the lieutenant colonel in the picture? Tried looking up Sarah Brady and it's just a bunch stories about her toxic relationship with Jonah Hill and Jackson Hinkler (they dated a few years ago and were probably dating when this pic was taken).

e: oh wait, they mean Tulsi Gabbard. What's linking her to psyops though?

[–] [email protected] 29 points 4 months ago (1 children)

She continued to serve as a major in the Hawaii Army National Guard until her transfer to the 351st Civil Affairs Command, a California-based United States Army Reserve unit assigned to the United States Army Civil Affairs and Psychological Operations Command, in June 2020

[–] [email protected] 1 points 4 months ago

Thanks. Didn't really like Tulsi in the first place, but I didn't know she was literally working with psyops.

[–] [email protected] 22 points 4 months ago (2 children)

I will only say that it is hard to tell from that photo that that is actually Jackson Hinkle, but this is extremely on the nose since San Onofre is really close to a marine base.

[–] [email protected] 22 points 4 months ago* (last edited 4 months ago)

It's gotta be him, he is also known for being a surfer. Also, I looked at his face, and that's him.

[–] [email protected] 22 points 4 months ago* (last edited 4 months ago) (1 children)

This blog post by ~~the army colonel~~ his girlfriend(?) was linked in the NYT article and it identifies him as Hinkle.

[–] [email protected] 25 points 4 months ago

Nice, Tulsi Gabbard was there as well, along with the marine base being prominently in the background. Thanks!

[–] [email protected] 14 points 4 months ago (1 children)

Is it unfair to say that this guy is some kind of contemporary Dick Spenser?

[–] [email protected] 14 points 4 months ago (1 children)
[–] [email protected] 20 points 4 months ago (1 children)

You know, he was friends with Mike Truk? He went along with Anatoli Smorin.

[–] [email protected] 23 points 4 months ago* (last edited 4 months ago) (3 children)

All three of those names sound like ligma jokes, but I can't figure them out.

He was also friends with Mike Hawk and Imapu Seelaver
