what's the problem with having squirrels eating out of your squirrel feeder? my problem is that birds keep eating out of it instead

MODERATORS
Squirrels are vermin, who cares if they're a natural part of the environment? I don't want them in my yard 
I hate the idea that their vermin. They're so sweet and cute and they help out by planting trees.
I always give my squirrels treats
Same with the crows and all the other little things that live in my yard
Except the ticks
all rodents are beautiful 
Squirrels get food from the squirrel feeder 
I feed the squirrels in my backyard. And the dove, and the grackles, and the crows, and the cardinals, etc. the problem i have with squirrels is they just eat everything, and while cheap, bird feed costs me money, and i cant afford to keep feeding the fuckers all the time.
Fairness is something that nature is not really into. I wish I could feed the birds in my area but I am worried I would be making a buffet for cats, squirrels, and the odd rat that I see climbing around on the overhead lines.
We have really mouthy squirrels around here, and I like to say things back at them when they yap from the trees. No idea what they're saying & I probably look ridiculous to passers by
