Reminds me of when I called out the mod of [email protected] on a racist rant post of theirs, and then they played victim and locked the entire community, lmao

Now it's just bot posts because I believe they are trying to reopen it with a different mod.

Oh boy, how this piece of shit was a mod? Every single time that I see someone complaining about woke in games I immediately imagine the person has the brain coming out of his nose.

You have awesome games with "woke", you have awful games with "woke" and you also have awesome games without "woke" and awful without "woke". How the fuck "woke" impact the quality of the game dipshit?

Brainworms and fragile egos.

how very convenient that this... take, lemme be generous, dropped shortly after Stephanie Sterling reminding everyone what kind of tripe Bloober Team has pushed out before somehow landing the SH2 remake job. like... when did judging someone/something on basis of their history and works become 'toxic', and how do I get back to the days where that was just matter-of-course?

No G*mers are NOT entitled to their opinion, actually, because it's dogshit.

What game and why are they mad?

Judging by the username, probably Final Fantasy 14. Couldn't say why, though.

Nah, it's a post to r/silenthill-- which probably means pre-SH4 purists carping on about how utterly dirty SH2 remake could be done by the project's current steward; because when anyone complains about toxicity in the SH fandom, it's always aimed at the oldheads because really, their inability to accept western devs on the scene, even when said western devs got the nod from Akira Yamaoka, is what killed the franchise.

...It's just that this one time I think I actually agree with the oldheads just based on the demerits of Bloober Team's prior work. (I have no idea where body shaming came from; but... I frankly don't think I want to know.) I wouldn't be able to blame anyone for shitting on SH2 Remake pre-emptively specifically because I remember that time Bloober Team's writing implied that (to paraphrase) "once you're traumatized, there's no fixing you and you're better off derezzed." Fuck would I trust these people to properly represent the story of James and Mary Sunderland for?
