Why would Thailand tie itself to a sinking ship when it could tie itself to the rising tide that is BRICS

NGOs and western educated elites, backed and funded by the NED or other such intelligence agency cutouts (Heinrich Böll Stiftung is another extremely dangerous subversive entity that has its tentacles deep in South East Asian politics), can and do cause many countries to act against their own best interests.

Let's hope so, Thailand produces an overwhelming majority of the world's rubber and them joining would lock another critically important resource into the BRICS sphere.

TBF This isn't HOI4, natural rubber isn't vital and thr current market (mostly tires) can be replaced with synthetic albeit at higher costs.

No it's like HOI4 where you suddenly couldn't build planes or trucks anymore but is still an important resource none the less. Having to synthetically producing rubber would be painful and costly.

This is literally like the Great Asian War in TNO

albeit at higher costs

This phrase is an outrage for liberals, though.

A sensible move, and in keeping with Thailand's historical success in the colonial era of navigating between competing power blocs to maintain its independence. And any country interested in a successful future would be insane to NOT join BRICS.

why would a nation we’ve exploited for centuries be against the current world order???!!!

Let’s hope the Argentine people can remove Milei so we can keep expanding the BRICS+ club.
