๐Ÿsoypoint-2 HOW FUCKING COOL IS THAT

He was just a wee little baby, soaking up the rays while chilling on the road in the woods near my apartment block. Almost ran him over with my bike

I didn't know snakes lived this near human habitation. Would've shoved my phone camera in his face but he got spooked and slithered away into the undergrowth real quick ooooooooooooooh

There should be a snake named a subtracter. Wouldn't that be a sick name for a kind of snake?

They do subtract from rodent populations

Also the occasional dog... or child... or old person

They're cool, but they can be rude. In my language they're literally called 'bite snakes'.

If a giant ape tried to step on me I would probably get quite rude too

Makes sense since they're the only venomous snake in Europe

We've got copperheads all around out here.

Fortunately, they seem to be super chill given the amount of times I've almost stepped or grabbed one when messing around outside.

Those don't seem to be too horribly venomous from what I saw on Google, much like our common European adder/viper.

I've just never seen one in Helsinki before, especially in a small forest like that that's hemmed in by housing on all sides

You're only a half adder lib. I know the full adder!
