I was wondering if he actually admitted not knowing about something, which would have been a first. But really, it's just a side effect of him trying to ridicule and downplay the importance of countering climate change. He essentially said that the economy was more important.

He thinks an intellectual is someone talking about actual problems instead of attacking the opponent? Have I got that right? That's hilarious. Also weird. And I don't think his base will be thrilled to be called intellectual after being primed to see that as an insult for literally decades.
No one listening to him cares what net zero emissions is. He endorses policies leading us away from net zero. He doesn't give a shit.
