REMEMBER: the Occupier is unpopular the world over. People by and large stand with Palestine, even in the imperial core. I managed to go to a protest. It was kind of an accident. I suspected something might be planned and went to the time, on the day, and to the place that protests usually happen. Maybe 200+ people there. Half dressed in Palestine flags. Speeches. Poetry. Songs. Messages passed from relatives in Palestine to share with us.
I've been tearing up reading about it all this week. But in person? It was more uplifting than sad. Seeing so many people willing to spend their weekend doing this.

The interesting thing was that the police were clearly supportive. I was a bit surprised to see them nodding along with the talks. They didn't join in the songs and the chanting. But from conversations I overheard, they were supportive. I joined a bit late so stood to one side and I also heard 'ordinary' passers by – you know, people who aren't engaged enough with politics to join a protest – walking past and talking about how bad things were for Palestinians. Seemed like almost everyone walking past was appalled at Israel.
The public stands with Palestine and they know they're being duped by the press. It lifted my mood significantly because all week I'd been given the impression from the silence of colleagues, my institution, my union, and the noise from the media that I was rather alone. Not so.

He spoke of Ishmael, he spoke of the Arabs and Jews as being brothers. I mentioned 1948. We talked of most Palestinians welcoming many Jewish settlers -- viewed at that time as refugees, even -- with open arms, only for those accepting natives to be slaughtered soon thereafter.
We pondered together whether razing a hospital and destroying a mosque were adequate responses to children throwing stones at tanks.
He seemed very relieved to talk to anyone with a modicum of understanding. He said "you are a very smart guy" as he left. It was a strange but welcome experience. If I prayed, I would pray for his family in Palestine. I know we have some religious comrades, here, and I would implore you to include them in your prayers, if you so wish.
My father in law visited today and I dreaded the Palestine conversation. I must say he surprised me, being pretty Pro Palestine. In this video, the actress theatrically cries throughout and also claims that al-Qassam militants filmed themselves committing real/fictitious/theatrical rape, and the victim turns their screen to show Police Global the rape film they acquired from Hamas, of themselves being raped by Hamas, which is then dismissed by two other actresses, one of which represents Police Global, another of which is a portrayal of a Hamas supporting western feminist who works for Police Global in a pink shirt. The woman in the pink shirt says that rape is fine against Israelis or something, to the crying depicted rape victim. There's now a new hashtag being circulated by Zionists alongside this new digital media, #rapeisnotresistance.

Anyways, I did a reverse image search of the actress who played the Oct 7 rape victim and found that she works for an organisation called "The Hive" (הכוורת). They have a YouTube channel where they talk about their work as "Social Entrepreneurs", funded by two large organisations, 'Joint Israel', and 'National Insurance Funds'. There are literally animations in their videos where paper money falls from the top to the bottom of the screen, advertising that their "social entrepreneurship" is lucrative. What I'm getting at is that they're obviously a propaganda company that markets propaganda. Millions of people are getting their heartstrings pulled at in order to support an ongoing genocide against one of the most oppressed peoples in the world. It has been well over a month and I still haven't seen any proof of any sexual abuse during the Al-Aqsa Flood operation, nor have I seen any trusted source outside of Israel verify footage of sexual abuse that is adamantly proclaimed to be easily accessible by Zionists.

I started noticing it’s increasingly difficult to find anti-Zionist resources using any search engine, Bing, Duckduck, Google, Qwant, Freespoke, etc.
My key search term was “sea to river,” which is the Zionist antithesis of “River to the sea.” Even with quotes, mainstream search engines results would either be empty or flooded with River-to-sea results. It wasn’t like that a few days ago. Pretty clear there’s a concerted effort effort to control the narrative by making it impossible to know the real history and intentions of Zionism.
I found Yandex to be fairly unbiased and was able to return ample results.

This quote is important for several reasons; one is because it adds to the understood timeline of events. This testimony would seem to indicate that many Israeli captives were still alive on Monday, October 9, a full two days after the events of Saturday, October 7. While it might be understandable if captives had been killed in the hectic crossfire of an initial Israeli response to the attack on the 7th, this account would seem to indicate that the decision to assault the kibbutz and everyone inside was made as a clear military calculation.
It is clear Palestinian militants were hiding in these buildings with their Israeli captives as Israeli soldiers were blasting their way in with massive tank shells in close quarters. It deserves to be investigated who caused most of the death and destruction that took place. This is especially important as these deaths are now being used to justify the destruction of Gaza and the killing of thousands of civilians there.
