also even if the hostages were in the hospital. Blowing up the hospital with the hostages inside is not a sane plan
'Soldier taken hostage' is a weird way to spell "a prisoner of war".

It's like how if you are a prison guard you have to sign a waiver if you get taken hostage that the authorities will not negotiate your release. Which draws parallels to the 'we do not negotiate with terrorists' mantra. Which also makes sense given Gaza is a giant prison.
