Pretty handy,

Assuming getting in all the bobbleheads and I’m special you’d still need to spend 5 levels. But strength 3 means armorer. Perception is sort of middle of the road, I’d go lower for a handgun build, higher for a rifle. Endurance 4 means aqua boy which can be situational but very useful in survival. Charisma 10 big settlements, low prices, easy speech checks. Int 7 means science and chemist which are handy. AG 4 means stealth with sneak and mister sandman. Luck 5 snags idiot savant.

Musk is the sort of glutton for punishment as shown with twitter that if he could he probably would run for president. Unlike say Zuckerberg who dipped his toes and said "you know what? Not for me".

Yeah they talked about that. Apparently Labour's plan to fix Prison Overcrowding is to build more prisons. Finally some big infrastructure spending...for prisons.

I think a lot of them because most cannon are smooth bore and black powder which in many state aren't even considered a firearm. So yeah you could have a swivel gun from a ship under your trench coat.

Becca Wilks was saying on a recent Trash Future about how both the Tories and Labour seem committed to imprisoning heaps of people on short sentences just to fill their prisons.

I'm cursed to remember this interview between Pier Morgan maw and Ben Shapiro, where debate-me-debate-me was saying how messed up that 9 unelected lifetime judges made decisions that affected millions by basically decree. And like he was complaining about gay marriage and liberal judges, it was even before hillary lost to trump-anguish .

But it was a real heartbreaking moment

Yeah Diamond City Security are probably the closest thing to a police force. In terms of uniform, duties, location etc. Mixed with a local military, because most of what they do is protect the walls and immediate surrounding. Kind of like a full time guard for a city state in a medieval period/early modern period.

But the minutemen I agree aren't really cops.

The meta example is they were trying to make Deacon have a sort of quasi-anarchist critique of things, which didn't make sense with the setting. The in universe is he is not nearly as smart as he thinks he is and has copied some ancient thing he has read or heard without thinking about it.

Okay so the writing in Fallout 4 is dogshit. But I really got thrown by this thing Deacon said yesterday while I was playing:

Love the job you're doing with the Minutemen. But, historically, they've been little better than policemen, though.

And it's like what the fuck man? It's more than 200 years since the bombs dropped and you live in an area which has never had a formal organised state (and have said you've visited DC another place like that), let alone one that had policemen.

Like guards, security, militia etc. But not police. And like I get that maybe policemen became just a synonym for those things, but Deacon being one of the more anarchist members of Railroad is clearly using it in the historic sense.

Also policemen that might exist in the NCR (on the complete opposite coast) probably do suck some of the time (like if they are putting down striking workers for Brahmin Barons) but the act of rebuilding a functioning nation-state like the NCR for all it's flaws is kind of historically progressive compared to just being settlements and raiders.

Yeah I believe they were all banned related to various racial and national groups. Like knuckle dusters initially for Italians and now a perception around Black people. Nun chucks etc for the various Asian diasporas.

No only right to trial by combat or ordeal

To be fair it's weird in the USA where you might have states were open or concealed carry is completely legal but things like swords or knuckle-dusters are a crime to carry in public.
