That's weird. I have taken the street variety before a nap and it does not affect me. Perhaps it makes dreams easier to remember but I'm not sure.
It's not that it makes me sleepy it induces a sort of wakefulness so that is I'm tired I can chose not to sleep. But it does not impair my ability to sleep.
The only thing that I remember having that effect is when I first tried LSD. They told me to dissolve the microdot in cold water and that it would be enough for several people. But after drinking a third of it, I got impatient so I drank all of it. At first I was having a blast. But after a few hours I wanted to sleep but couldn't. And I got an awfully migraine.
I don't have Adderall but I love stimulants and usually I take a nap right after my dosage. I wake up rested and with a clear head.

I shower when I get home, because COVID. I try to arrange all outside activities so that I only shower once a day, but sometimes I have to go out for unexpected emergencies and end up showering 2 or 3 times.
