@[email protected] I was writing a reply to this comment of yours on that "NoFap" post, but before I could press the post button, the OP was removed for lacking a CW. sadness

I've seen too much "NoFap" chud shit like this to see it as joking anymore.

The most "high power level" chanlord fascists are the ones that boast that they watch violent cartoon porn then don't orgasm, instead building up tension to "raise power levels" and be "productive" in ways.

It was always intended as a fascist pipeline for men. An old friend of mine I grew up with and who actually helped me get into radical leftist politics, would talk proudly about quitting porn and participating in these "NoFap" challenges. At the time I didn't yet know what it was all about, but it led to him becoming more and more unhinged when he'd talk about women, and sometimes he would jokingly call himself a "manarchist". cringe

After that, he suddenly became interested in "spiritualism", and would follow all sorts of weirdo "spiritualists" who talk about men having to be volcel and save their sperm for all sorts of esoteric reasons, and oh, also because women bad. I remember the last time he came over, we at one point talked about the existence of trans people. He said something along the lines of us trans people existing because it's nature's way of doing population control every once in a while. kombucha-disgust

Suffice to say, we don't talk anymore. It's probably for the best, because after the pandemic broke his brain he's gone full fascist.

It's ridiculous when cishets get mad at you for suggesting that someone might be an trans-egg

How dare you push an innocent cishet to question their own gender and potentially find out that they're not cis. This is oppression. maybe-later-honey

I was having a discussion about filmmakers with a friend, and when Uwe Boll came up, I couldn't help but think about that meltdown over his failed crowdfunding campaigns when he uploaded a video titled "fuck you all".

Cindy Picos was dropped by her home insurer last month. The reason: aerial photos of her roof, which her insurer refused to let her see.

"I thought they had the wrong house," said Picos, who lives in northern California. "Our roof is in fine shape."

Her insurer said its images showed her roof had "lived its life expectancy." Picos paid for an independent inspection that found the roof had another 10 years of life. Her insurer declined to reconsider its decision.

Across the U.S., insurance companies are using aerial images of homes as a tool to ditch properties seen as higher risk.

Nearly every building in the country is being photographed, often without the owner's knowledge. Companies are deploying drones, manned airplanes and high-altitude balloons to take images of properties. No place is shielded: The industry-funded Geospatial Insurance Consortium has an airplane imagery program it says covers 99% of the U.S. population.
