You could say they are the same thing looked at from different points of view, or that it is surplus value while in production and turns into profit in circulation. They probably also have historical differences when looked at beyond the era of capitalism.

The real reason for the argument is that they do not want to give trans people a higher stage of social recognition, which has happened to other minorities before. Maybe pointing out that people said the exact same thing about the term "straight" would work? It is also pretty easy to make fun of them by making them say they are not cis, and then acting like they just came out to you.

OMG did you see the video where a teenager totally owns Bozo the Fascist Clown in a balloon animal making competition?

The competitive gamer impulse to reflexively blame your team is so funny, I watched a top-level Deadlock pub player lose to backdooring, and while it was still happening he goes "dogshit team not paying attention", but the twist here is that he was also himself too late to react to stop the backdooring.

Didn't you hear he died in 2022 (throat slashed)? He even had an in memoriam during that year's Superbowl, between the Mcdonald's and Burger King ads.

It's really telling that it's always Slaanesh these people choose to over-dedicate themselves to, rancid vibes

It's shocking how often short-form pop science content is just straight up wrong, and not even in the Veritasium way where the videos are misleading in a way that makes them more sensational, just wrong for no reason about high school level physics. Surely it can't lead to that much increased engagement, they must be made specifically to torment me.
